Scriptorium models the actual rhythm of careful translation. Every verse you write moves through four stages — and the app tracks where it is, who looked at it, and what changed.
Draft
Open the chapter, jump to the next unwritten verse, and type. The editor accepts USFM inline markup (\wj … \wj* for words of Christ, \q1 for poetry) and never gets in your way.
Self-review
When the chapter is drafted, mark verses for self-review. Scriptorium opens the Words panel by default so you can re-check each rendering against the Greek or Hebrew, and run the consistency scan against your glossary.
State: Self-review → ReviewerReviewer
Send the chapter to a reviewer — they open the same project file (or a synced copy) and attach per-verse comments. Comments thread; resolutions stick. When they're done, the verse comes back marked Revised.
State: Reviewer → RevisedApprove. Run Print Preview to spot widows and orphans, generate a KDP-ready interior PDF, or export the whole project as an IDML package and hand it to your typesetter. Front and end matter come along.
